- He headed the regional bodies of lawyer self-government for almost 15 years.
- He was elected Vice-President of the Union of Advocates of Ukraine for two terms and served as a Member of the Higher Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of the Bar of Ukraine.
- In 2015, he was appointed (elected) as the sole representative of the Ukrainian legal profession to serve as a Member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine (HQCJ).
- During the period of his service in the HQCJ, he temporarily suspended his legal practice in order to avoid any conflict of interest.
- Currently, he continues to practice law and is actively engaged in academic and research activities.
5. Public / Community Activity (if any):
Alongside his scientific work, he writes textbooks and methodological manuals intended to support attorneys, judges, and law students. He also actively participates in legal forums and professional conferences.
6. Why did you decide to become an ambassador of “Ukrainians and the World” magazine:
He believes that his extensive experience as a practicing attorney, legal scholar, leader within the bar self-governance system, and participant in the judicial reform process as a member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine may be valuable and interesting to Ukrainians and to everyone interested in Ukraine, its legal system, and the current state of justice and rule of law in the country.
