Life is a journey filled with surprises, challenges, and opportunities. For Sofia Demianova, this journey began in Ukraine, where she was born and spent most of her childhood in Kyiv. From an early age, she showed a deep interest in creativity, joining the «Viva la Musica» choir at just three years old.
Together with the ensemble, she performed at numerous international competitions, winning Grand Prix awards, while her duet performances became some of the most cherished memories of her childhood.
Beyond music, Sofia always had a passion for the arts. She loved drawing and even considered a career in game design. Additionally, she actively engaged in swimming, attended dance studios, participated in poetry contests, and studied foreign languages, broadening her horizons and opening herself up to new opportunities. After finishing school, Sofia enrolled at Karazin University, specializing in International Business.
However, her life took a dramatic turn after the outbreak of war in Ukraine. Together with her mother and younger sister, she was forced to leave her home and relocate to Germany. This move was unexpected and challenging, but fate brought her to Heidelberg a beautiful city with great educational prospects. Here, Sofia not only found safety but also built strong friendships that became her new family.
Adapting to life in a new country required effort, and one of the main challenges was learning the German language. Thanks to her perseverance and the support of her teachers, she achieved a high level of proficiency understanding native speakers, watching videos, reading articles, and speaking confidently. This accomplishment is yet another testament to her determination and ability to overcome difficulties.
Nevertheless, art remains an integral part of her life. Sofia joined the Ukrainian-German choir «Rushnyk», where she performs at charity concerts supporting the Ukrainian army and refugees. Additionally, she actively takes part in solo performances, particularly at rallies and events dedicated to Ukraine.
A new chapter in her career began in October 2024, when she signed a contract with the renowned modeling agency «East West Models» in Frankfurt-am-Main. Becoming a model was not only an opportunity for her to express her individuality but also to immerse herself in the fashion world, where every photoshoot tells a unique story through emotions, poses, and facial expressions. She enjoys every stage of the creative process, as photography allows her to convey a special mood and beauty.
In January 2025, Sofia took another important step in her career by releasing her first musical cover of the song «Feeling Good» under the stage name Sofi Bastet. This was a significant achievement, as she successfully combined her love for music with a professional approach to content creation.
However, her achievements do not end there. Sofia became the winner of the first international financial literacy tournament, which took place on April 28, 2021, in Vienna, Austria.
This accomplishment highlights her not only as a creative individual but also as an intelligent, ambitious, and pragmatic person striving for development in various fields.
Now, Sofia finds herself at a pivotal stage in life, shaping her future path. She plans to pursue a master’s degree, gain new knowledge and experience, expand her horizons, and fully realize her potential. Every day, she takes steps toward her dream, continuously improving herself and discovering new opportunities.
Her story is one of inspiration, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Sofia Demianova is a shining example of how talent, perseverance, and self-belief can transform a life and open new horizons.
