Key achievements and activities:
- Social integration and support for the Ukrainian community: VIDNOVA has created a platform for integrating Ukrainians into Swiss society.
- Through conferences, forums, and educational programs, the organization helps Ukrainian refugees find their place in their new surroundings.
The most striking example is the INTEGRAS forum, which took place in Bern in October 2024. The event covered topics such as adaptation, employment, and social integration of Ukrainian refugees. The forum program included speeches by high-ranking officials from Switzerland and Ukraine, a panel discussion with presentations by Ukrainian and Swiss civil society organizations, and master class sessions.
The event brought together over 600 participants and became an important event for the Ukrainian community in Switzerland.
Ukrainian cultural initiatives:
- VIDNOVA actively supports Ukrainian artists by organizing exhibitions, concerts, and other events. For example, thanks to the organization, cultural events featuring famous Ukrainian performers, cultural festivals, and fairs were held.
- Supporting young talent: the organization actively supports young artists and talents. In particular, VIDNOVA facilitated the participation of Ilya Konovchenko, a finalist in the national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, by organizing a fan meeting in Switzerland. This allowed the young singer to receive support from both the Ukrainian community and local residents.
- Psychological support: Recognizing the importance of mental health, VIDNOVA provides psychological assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war. The organization conducts training sessions and seminars on stress management, individual and group consultations with professional psychologists, and sessions on resolving family and personal issues.
- VIDNOVA successfully utilizes its own powerful media platform, which includes 10 websites and 25 Telegram channels and groups, several Facebook pages and groups, as well as partner print magazines.

Total online reach exceeds 100,000 followers, and offline initiatives, including large events, have reached over 3,000 people.
VIDNOVA’s activities extend not only to Switzerland, but also to countries where partner organizations operate, including Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Belgium, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, and Serbia.

The VIDNOVA Ukrainian-Swiss Foundation is an example of how cooperation, inspiration, and professionalism can change the lives of thousands of people. Thanks to the leadership of Olesia Tarasenko and the mutual support of her team, the organization continues to create new opportunities for Ukrainians abroad, promoting their integration, prosperity, and cultural development. VIDNOVA is about unity, the power of community, and faith in the future.
