On April 2, in sunny Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (USA), a special event took place, bringing Ukrainians together around the values of leadership, creativity, and philanthropy. In the intimate atmosphere of Rose Cafe & Restaurant, a charitable gathering was held with the ambassador of the magazine Ukrainians and the World — Svitlana Okhrimenko, a businesswoman, actress, and a vivid example of the modern Ukrainian woman who successfully combines entrepreneurship and art.
The event was organized by the International Association “Intellectual Leadership,” the International Internet Film Festival Star Independent, and the media magazine Ukrainians and the World, with support from the Yaremchuk Group. A Story That Resonates
The central theme of the meeting became the question that concerns many people today: how can one successfully combine business with the realization of creative dreams?
Svitlana Okhrimenko shared her inspiring path, proving that it is possible. Behind her are more than 35 film and television roles, as well as a successful business career. During the gathering, she openly spoke about her personal journey — about searching, doubts, courageous decisions, and inner transformation.
“We often postpone our dreams for ‘later,’ believing that we first need to achieve stability. But in reality, that very dream becomes the source of energy that moves us forward,” Svitlana shared.

All donations collected during the gathering (30 donations) were directed toward the creation of a children’s theater — a symbolic mission that responds to one of today’s greatest challenges: children affected by war need not only physical recovery, but also emotional healing.
The project is being implemented at the initiative of Andrii Karpov and aims to create a space where children can develop creatively, restore emotional balance, and believe in the future again.
Thus, the gathering in Miami became not only a source of inspiration for adults, but also a contribution to the future of Ukrainian children.
Ukrainians Around the World: The Power of Unity
This event once again proved: wherever Ukrainians may be, they are able to unite around important values. Business, culture, education, charity — all of this becomes part of a shared movement aimed at supporting and strengthening Ukraine.
The organizers are actively working to create platforms for the exchange of experience and the development of Ukrainian leadership around the world. The International Association “Intellectual Leadership,” the Star Independent Festival, and the magazine Ukrainians and the World continue to open new names in culture and industry, while also highlighting stories of success and transformation among Ukrainians worldwide.
Inspired Children
Participants of the event admitted that this gathering became a point of reflection for many. Someone decided to take the first step toward their dream.
Someone found new contacts for collaboration. And someone simply received the support they needed for a new stage in life.
It is precisely such events that create an environment where new ideas, projects, and partnerships are born.
